Ninesky Technology Co., Ltd are pleased to announce their further investment into the cable industry with a new state of the art production facility in Taixing China. The new facility will increase production of steel and aluminum tape to in excess of 35,000MT per annum.

Covering 750,000 square feet, the plant will contain fully automated equipment for cold rolling, chrome plating, lamination and slitting. This expansion will further establish Ninesky Technology Co., Ltd as the leading producer of steel and aluminum tape in China.

With the support of our partners UNITAPE and CableTec we are expanding our international market to supply coated steel and aluminum tapes (Alfabond™) to cable companies in North America, through UNITAPE’s slitting facility in North Carolina and in Europe through CableTec’s slitting facility based in Arendonk Belgium. UNITAPE and CableTec can offer localized service for their region with a slitting capacity of over 18,000MT per annum between them, making Ninesky one of the world’s largest suppliers of steel tape to the cable industry.

Established in 2003 Unitape Ltd is a UK registered company, which has established a global network in manufacturing and distribution of materials for the cable industry. In 2010 UNITAPE opened a tape slitting facility in the USA in partnership with Ninesky, which provides coated steel, aluminum, water blocking and polyester tapes.

CableTec was founded in 1993 as the European distributor for Dow Chemical for their range of coated metal products. In 2001 CableTec became a part of Ravago and integrated the production facilities in Arendonk Belgium. In 2009 CableTec separated from Ravago and early this year Unitape and Ninesky became shareholders in CableTec.
